So I was recently asked by Dreamshock Design Studios if I could collaborate with them to shoot some aerial footage for a promotional video they were creating of a beautiful grade one listed town house in Lewes Cresent Brighton.
A licensed operator was obviously required. So with it being a congested area, and all protocols followed, an inspire was mainly used due to its dual control allowing me to fly the UAV safely and a member of the team from Dreamshock to control the camera gimbal and direct where to fly. Was a fun shoot and everything was done safely and fully to plan.
One interesting shot was from inside the building and out of the window into the private crescent in front. 2 spotters were needed outside for this on the road and one in the crescent, even though its a quiet road it was important to make sure it was safe to do this with the help of spotters, and a flawless flight out of the window and into the crescent ahead captured the shot we wanted. A Phantom 3 was required for this due to its smaller size.
